Thanks to the generosity of our DukeMed alumni, the
reunion gift program raised more than $2 million during
the 2007 reunion year. It was a proud moment for me to
announce this during Medical Alumni Weekend, and it was a
great joy to know that many of you were there to share in the
celebrations.
My most sincere appreciation goes out to all those who contributed
to the reunion gift program: Half Century Club Chair
Dr. Robert “Crusty” Rosemond and all of the Class Agents and
Reunion Class Chairs. I would also like to thank one of our
newest Davison Club members, Dean Nancy Andrews, MD,
PhD. Thanks to the support of all of our alumni and volunteers,
the 2007 reunion program has been a resounding success.
Thank you,
R. Sanders “Sandy” Williams,

CORRECTIONS:
The obituary for Albert W.Farley, T'44, MD'47 in the Fall issue incorrectly stated the name of his first wife. It is Jody. Also, Herman Froeb, MD'47, who supplied the obit information says he inadvertently left out the name of Tom Ferguson, MD'47, when listing classmates living in Granny Cranny's boarding house. We both apologize for the errors.
The print version of this issue incorrectly gives the graduating year for Michael Hung-Hwa Yen and his wife Jenny C. Sung. They are both 1997 graduates of the Duke School of Medicine. Their class note appears in the correct section in this online version of the magazine.
